Multiple Site Manager

At present I have three separate domains running off our server. Movablemaps.com is an example. I have an arrangement with my webhost, they add the domains for $15.00.

Using expression engine one can manage multiple domains using separate folders on the server and pointing the domains to them, or same with sub-domains. Each is a separate weblog and can be managed from one installation of EE.

In some cases the Multiple Site manager may be a preferred choice.
I am often asked if I recommend using the MSM. My answer is… that depends. If one wants a more complete separation of member groups, forums, and templates across the different domains, (or sub-domains), then yes. It is not required overall though.
